We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at The Columbus Organization. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to establish psychiatric diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy to address a range of mental health issues.
- Collaborate with medical and surgical patients to help them cope with illnesses or injuries.
- Assist in the rehabilitation of patients and provide counseling in a short-term treatment environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
- Minimum two years of professional experience working in an outpatient mental health clinic.
- Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
- Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
