**About the Role**
Chick-fil-A, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our Restaurant Pricing and Performance Insights team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive business growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze complex data sets to develop or enhance pricing strategies using statistical models, algorithms, and simulations.
- Perform in-depth statistical analysis to establish causal relationships between drivers and outcomes.
- Design and implement efficient analytic workflows to increase productivity and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data science best practices.
- Develop and manage advanced statistical models, workflows, and/or code in support of project work.
- Own and oversee the quality, documentation, and performance of models and code.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to support project work.
**Requirements**
- 3-5 years of experience in advanced analytics and/or data science.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of statistics and statistical modeling.
- Basic understanding of modern machine learning and its mathematical underpinnings.
- Strong programming skills in SQL, R, and/or Python.
- Ability to partner with cross-functional teams using strong written and verbal communication.
- Emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and rigorous data analysis.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 5+ years of professional experience in advanced analytics and/or data science.
- MBA or Master's Degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience working with pricing in retail or hospitality.
- Experience with price elasticity analysis and modeling.
- Experience using the AWS big data technology stack.
- Experience developing advanced statistical models.
- Experience using Databricks.
