Lead Data Scientist, Restaurant Pricing and Insights

As a Lead Data Scientist on the Restaurant Pricing and Performance Insights team at Chick-fil-A, you will play a key role in developing and implementing the pricing strategy for our restaurants. This involves leading technically complex project work, analyzing data, and applying statistical methods to optimize our understanding of restaurant performance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze data and apply or develop models, algorithms, and/or simulations to develop or enhance pricing strategies
Perform statistical analysis to establish causal relationships between drivers and outcomes
Automate current processes to increase efficiency and eliminate errors
Design and implement analytic workflows
Act as an individual contributor on project engagements and be responsible for implementing data science best practices in their work
Requirements
3-5 years' experience in advanced analytics and/or data science
Strong analytical and research skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of statistics and statistical modeling
Basic understanding of modern machine learning and its mathematical underpinnings
Strong programming skills in SQL, R, and/or Python
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in advanced analytics and/or data science
MBA or Master's Degree in a quantitative field
Experience working with pricing in retail or hospitality
Experience with price elasticity analysis and modeling
Experience using the AWS big data technology stack
Experience developing advanced statistical models
Experience using Databricks
