Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at HCA South Atlantic Division. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians, via oral, IM, SQ, or IV route.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, re-prioritizing care plans as necessary.
  • Engage in timely and efficient discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition of patients to the appropriate level of care.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - ACLS and NRP certification.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience required.
