Job Description

This exciting opportunity involves leading a team of software engineers in the development of cutting-edge security solutions for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in driving innovation and excellence within our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical guidance on architecture, design, code reviews, development, and quality assurance.
  • Team Management: Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers, mentoring them in their career growth and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with partner teams across Microsoft to leverage best practices and drive innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, with 4+ years of technical engineering experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of people management experience of a software team.
  • 4+ years of industry experience in large-scale system architecture, design, development, testing, and release of full product lifecycle.
