Role Summary:
This position involves providing expert support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of photolithography semiconductor equipment. Candidates must have experience in this field and are expected to comply with customer protocols, including health and safety measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment operates within factory standards.
- Guide customers on the proper use and upkeep of equipment.
- Act as the primary contact for customers regarding assigned projects.
- Execute complex repairs and maintenance tasks independently and collaboratively.
- Deliver technical assistance to customers, addressing operational queries and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Document equipment performance issues and report findings to assist in troubleshooting.
- Conduct training sessions for customer personnel to enhance service proficiency.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to resolve equipment challenges.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess:
- Experience or knowledge in optics, lasers, software, robotics, or precision mechanics.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years in a related field.
- Familiarity with the Linux operating system for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong mechanical skills and hands-on experience with electronic testing tools.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Prior customer support experience is advantageous.
Additional Information:
Candidates should be prepared for travel and flexible work schedules. Comfort in a cleanroom environment is essential, including wearing appropriate protective gear. The role may involve physical demands such as lifting and prolonged periods of computer use.
