Job Description

At F/S Manufacturing, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for preparing outbound goods for shipment to customers while adhering to our company's operating procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling to prevent damage or misplacement.
  • Assist in loading and unloading items from trucks or containers, using appropriate equipment or machinery.
  • Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Perform shipping and inventory tasks within our ERP/MRP software system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping issues or delays.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Adhere to all safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Agriculture background not required but basic knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
