We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Parksite. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for operating a forklift, picking orders using our voice picking system, and assisting with shipping and receiving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse
  • Pick orders using our voice picking system
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe working environment
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate processes
  • Assist in counting physical inventory and conducting regular cycle counts

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Voice picking experience a plus
  • Lumber/Building product experience
  • Receiving experience
  • Inventory control experience
