We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Parksite. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for operating a forklift, picking orders using our voice picking system, and assisting with shipping and receiving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse
- Pick orders using our voice picking system
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe working environment
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate processes
- Assist in counting physical inventory and conducting regular cycle counts
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Voice picking experience a plus
- Lumber/Building product experience
- Receiving experience
- Inventory control experience
