Portfolio Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Portfolio Strategist to join our team at Edward Jones. As a key member of our Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) group, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized advice and investment solutions to our high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with branch teams to deliver high-quality Advice, Planning, Products, and Services (APPS) to meet client needs.
- Provide support across the client journey, including creating tailored investment advice and strategies, portfolio analysis and construction, and implementation.
- Support senior members of the portfolio strategy team, financial advisors, and clients with basic to intermediate investment portfolio scenarios.
- Coordinate and/or contribute to consultations and content that meet the needs of our high-net-worth clients.
- Work in partnership with WMC or HNW internal stakeholder groups to enhance workflow processes and strengthen partnership dynamics.
- Assist with branch team and client interactions to identify resources for achieving desired results.
- Build and maintain an understanding of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes and assess their impact on our product offerings and team's ability to deliver personalized services.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses required within 6 months of hire.
- Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or progress towards.
- 3 years of experience in financial services or related field, 1-2 years of relevant portfolio management, portfolio analysis, and/or investment consultation preferred but not required.
- Technical aptitude, analytical, and critical skills.
- Subject matter expertise on economic, investment, and portfolio management strategies and concepts.
- Skills in systems thinking, planning and organizing, relationship building, collaboration, critical thinking, and project management.
- Solid written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to provide concise, relevant commentary.

Our total compensation approach includes benefits, bonuses, and profit sharing. The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate.
Hiring Minimum: $81,750
Hiring Maximum: $139,194
