Area Supervisor

At Ross Stores, Inc., we are committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As an Area Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our stores by leading a team of Retail Associates and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of Retail Associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee the opening and closing of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
- Ensure that all merchandise is properly displayed and maintained, and that the store is clean and well-organized.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, and ensure that all stockroom procedures are followed.
- Process customer transactions, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with other store leaders to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
