- Prepare all food items in accordance with standardized recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and work areas, adhering to safety protocols.
- Minimize waste while maximizing the cost-to-production ratio.
- Demonstrate a friendly and service-oriented approach in all interactions with guests and team members.
- Stay updated on menu items and preparation techniques as per hotel standards.
- Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to service to ensure timely guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and present buffet items according to established standards.
- Assist in the preparation of food for Banquets, following specific event orders.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items in compliance with hotel procedures.
- Maintain a positive and warm demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hotel or related field.
- Food Handlers Certification in compliance with state regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Quick and accurate decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
