Job Overview

The Banquets Set-up Crew is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of events and meetings at the Galt House Hotel. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for setting up and tearing down meeting rooms, including the transportation of equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely and efficient setup and teardown of meeting rooms.
  • Set up meeting rooms to the specifications of guests, including the transportation of heavy equipment and materials.
  • Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of meeting rooms and ballrooms.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in meeting rooms.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
