Lead Financial Analyst

Position Overview:
We are in search of a meticulous and results-oriented Senior Financial Specialist to become a vital part of our finance department. This role is essential for collaborating closely with the North America Controller and the existing accounting team, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), to manage accounting operations across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare precise and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with established timelines and team contributions.
2. Oversee the complete accounting cycle, including general journal entries, accruals, account analysis, and reconciliations.
3. Manage cost accounting tasks such as cycle count audits, standard cost roll processes, and inventory oversight.
4. Generate financial reports, including flash reports, quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts, and annual financial plans.
5. Assist with corporate internal audits and contribute to initiatives aimed at process enhancements.
6. Support the formulation of internal financial policies and procedures and aid in the coordination of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
7. Conduct complex financial analysis and reporting while assisting the Controller with special projects.
8. Maintain well-organized work papers and ensure adherence to effective internal control guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis, particularly within a manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in GAAP, cost accounting, and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Hyperion, IFS, and/or SmartView is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively engage with all levels of management.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $90k-110k based on experience.
