Job OverviewWe're seeking an experienced EOIR Attorney to join our team and take on challenging immigration cases.
Responsibilities- Presentation of immigration concepts and development of strategic solutions for clients.
- Representation of non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
- Caseload management, including client interaction and collaboration with the Immigration Team.
- Visitation and intake process with detained individuals at designated centers.
- Preparation of diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
- Review and adjustment of immigration applications/packets as necessary.
- Collaboration with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.
- Strategic consultations with potential clients and determination of necessary strategy.
- Development of case strategy and preparation of clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.
- Provision of legal analysis to determine possible case benefits.
- Preparation and submission of legal briefs for various immigration cases.
- 1-5 years of experience in Immigration Law.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred.
- Record of successfully managing caseloads and advancing legal cases.
- Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
- Proficiency in Case Management Software is beneficial.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our clients. We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience.
