Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the operational management of the community in alignment with the standards set by the Owners/Board of Directors, Discovery Management Group, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Exhibit the capability to cultivate and strengthen relationships within the local community to drive business growth, while effectively pricing services to enhance revenue and achieve a strong market presence.
Ensure the community implements a robust external business development strategy, with clearly defined responsibilities, able to communicate outcomes and adjust plans as necessary to optimize referral leads and resident move-ins.
Acquire a comprehensive understanding of state regulations, policies, and procedures affecting residents; ensure adherence to compliance standards.Maintain all resident administrative files to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with state regulations.
Achieve financial objectives aimed at maximizing returns for capital partners.
Possess functional knowledge of all operational programs, including memory care, clinical services, dining, and social activities.
Prepare and adhere to the community budget.
Ensure that budgeted revenue targets are met or surpassed by optimizing occupancy rates and room pricing.
Review monthly financial reports and implement corrective action plans for any deficiencies.
Manage key non-labor operating expenses in accordance with budgetary constraints.
Timely process and submit monthly expenses and budget data in compliance with internal policies and controls.
Meet expectations for Net Operating Income (NOI) and occupancy rates.
Supervise all departments, maintaining complete accountability for efficient operations and alignment with the financial goals established in the approved Operating Budget.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Hospitality, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of three years of managerial experience, ideally within the senior living, healthcare, or hospitality sectors.
Prior management experience encompassing hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, daily operations oversight, and disciplinary actions.
Sales experience is preferred.
Proven success in managing operational expenses.
Administrator License/certification is required.
Demonstrate leadership by instilling confidence in oneself and others; inspire and motivate team members to excel.
