The Director of Talent Development will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our workforce, ensuring that every team member has the tools and resources they need to thrive and succeed.
This executive leader will design and implement innovative training programs that enhance the professional growth of our dental professionals, clinical teams, and support staff.
The Director will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure training initiatives align with Deca Dental's goals, foster a culture of continuous learning, and prepare the workforce for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive training and career development strategy that supports Deca Dental Group's business objectives and fosters a high-performance, employee-centric culture.
- Design and implement scalable training programs for clinical and non-clinical employees, focusing on skills development, compliance, leadership, and career advancement.
- Lead and mentor the training and development team, ensuring they deliver high-quality, innovative, and engaging learning experiences.
- Create and oversee career development frameworks and pathways that facilitate internal promotions and professional growth for employees across all roles.
- Partner with clinical leadership to establish a robust clinical education program for dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and other clinical staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive leadership training initiatives to support the development of current and future leaders within the organization.
- Evaluate and implement technology platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), to enhance the delivery and tracking of training programs.
- Work closely with HR, Operations, and Clinical teams to identify training needs, ensuring alignment with the company's values and long-term goals.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on employee performance, retention, and patient care.
- Oversee the budget for training and development initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- ~5+ years of experience in training and development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- ~ Proven track record of developing and implementing large-scale training programs in a healthcare or dental environment.
- ~ Strong understanding of adult learning principles, training best practices, and leadership development.
- ~ Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- ~ Knowledge of dental or healthcare industry regulations and accreditation requirements is a plus.
