Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Virginia Commonwealth University. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a demonstrated interest in teaching and research, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical: Provide direct patient care within the emergency department, supervising trainees, non-licensed providers, and non-physician credentialed providers.
  • Teaching: Participate in providing core curriculum lectures to medical students, interns, and resident level trainees.
  • Research: Actively participate in Departmental research projects.
  • Service: Participate as a representative of the VCU Health System.
Requirements
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Active Virginia Medical License, DEA
  • Graduate of accredited Medical School
  • Graduate from an Emergency Medicine residency program
  • Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency within 3 years
