Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our students
  • Manage the daily operations of the cafeteria, including food preparation, serving, and sanitation
  • Supervise and train food service staff to ensure they are following safe food handling practices
  • Conduct regular inventory and equipment maintenance to ensure efficient operations
  • Compile and maintain accurate records of food service operations, including financial and production records
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in institutional food service operations
  • High school diploma or GED; culinary training or certification preferred
  • Food Manager certification from the health department
  • Knowledge of food handler safety and ability to manage personnel
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Manager will work in a commercial kitchen environment, exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise. The position requires the ability to lift moderate weights and work with hands in water.
