Pharmacy Cashier

Job Description:

Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.

Customer Experience:

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.

Operations:

• Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Recommend items for sale to customers and assist with OTC products.

Pharmacy Operations:

• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Store Maintenance:

• Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised.
• Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager.

Asset Protection:

• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.

Training and Development:

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekend hours.
