Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated individual to provide high-quality patient care and support on our Behavioral Health Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for observing patient behavior, performing vital signs and ADLs, and responding to emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient observations and other patient care activities.
- Observe patient behavior and report any concerns to the clinical team.
- Perform, report, and document vital signs and ADLs.
- Respond rapidly to emergency call lights and perform safety checks.
- Provide group and individual interventions to assist patients towards recovery and rehabilitation.
- Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent with related experience required. Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
- Certification: AHA CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Experience: Possesses a broad practical understanding of life experiences and the ability to relate to emotionally ill individuals.
- Prior experience in psychiatric setting a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality, and possess good problem-solving skills.
- Full-time position with 32 hours per week.
