Job SummaryThe Mental Health Worker / Behavioral Health Tech will play a vital role in supporting patients on our Behavioral Health Unit. This includes engaging patients in recovery-oriented activities, communicating patient needs to the clinical team, monitoring patient safety, and collaborating with nursing professionals to create a healing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient observations and other patient care activities.
- Observe patient behavior and respond to emergency call lights.
- Document vital signs, ADLs, and other relevant information.
- Provide group and individual interventions to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with related experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
- AHA CPR/BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Prior experience in psychiatric settings a plus.
