Coverage includes:

  • Ultrasound and ED bedside ultrasound services
  • Radiology, including in-house and telemedicine services at night
  • Psychiatry, anesthesia, and 3-bed ICU coverage
  • Pulmonary and line service support
  • Orthopedic and hospitalist services
  • Cardiovascular and neurology coverage

About the Program and Hours

  • 20-bed Emergency Department with a 6-bed fast track
  • 19,000 annual visits to the ED
  • 12-hour physician shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) and 10-hour APP shifts (12p-10p)

Qualifications

  • Active Connecticut license or ability to obtain an unrestricted state license
  • PA or FNP certification with BE/BC
  • Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
