Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard employee confidentiality and uphold payroll operations by maintaining strict confidentiality of all information.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all employees.

  • Support team dynamics by assisting colleagues and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure payroll operations comply with established policies and procedures while reporting necessary adjustments.
  • Manage employee labor allocations for grant purposes within the payroll system.
  • Produce time and attendance reports along with payroll documentation each pay period to facilitate grant invoicing.
  • Establish and maintain employee time and attendance records.
  • Issue manual paychecks as required.
  • Update payroll records by entering modifications and notes as needed.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies through careful information collection and analysis.
  • Provide payroll-related information by addressing inquiries from employees and management.
  • Contribute to team objectives by completing related tasks as necessary.
  • Complete all assigned training modules in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with payroll software.
  • Experience with ADP software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated history of good attendance and a positive work ethic.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
