About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team at the Hampton Roads Community Action Program. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for coordinating community outreach efforts, developing partnerships, and promoting our programs and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community outreach, program management, and marketing. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to build relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders, and promote our programs and services to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community outreach strategies to promote our programs and services
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and government agencies
  • Coordinate events, activities, and workshops to engage with the community and promote our programs
  • Analyze data and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in community outreach, marketing, or public relations
  • Strong knowledge of community resources, social services, and reentry programs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
