Concurrent Enrollment Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Concurrent Enrollment Specialist to join our team at Collin College. This full-time position involves coordinating concurrent enrollment programs and special admissions initiatives. You will work closely with high school counselors, principals, and students to provide exceptional student services.
About the Position
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution. A Master's degree from an accredited institution is preferred. Two years of related experience, preferably in a community college or university setting, is also required. The estimated annual salary for this position is $51,000, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate concurrent orientation programs and registration processes for service area high schools.
- Advise, interview, and make admissions decisions for special admissions students.
- Provide regular special admissions reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Partnerships and other college administrators.
- Communicate regularly with high schools and Collin staff regarding grades, calendar conflicts, rosters, student schedules, professor information, and deadlines.
Requirements
Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills. They should also be able to work indoors, outdoors, or with constant noise while performing various recruiting tasks.
