Spiritual Care Chaplain

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Care Chaplain to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our Mission Services department, you will provide spiritual care and counsel to patients, families, and staff, while also promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
Responsibilities- Assess and provide pastoral care to patients, families, and staff, with attention to diverse spiritual orientations and cultures.
- Provide consultation to patients, families, and medical staff on ethical decision-making and values.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing the spiritual program to ensure spirituality initiatives are executed properly.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field preferred.
- 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE required; 2 units preferred.
- 2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
