Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counseling Supervisor to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for supervising counselors and counselor interns, ensuring the delivery of high-quality treatment services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Mentor Counselors: Provide clinical supervision and guidance to counselors and counselor interns, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care.
  • Manage Clinical Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the counseling team, including caseload management, performance improvement discussions, and documentation.
  • Ensure Quality Care: Monitor treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Participate in the recruitment and training of new counselors, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with leadership to develop and implement clinical programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient services, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Science: Required; LADC-1, LICSW, or LMHC certification preferred.
  • Experience in Addiction Treatment: Minimum of 1 year experience in addiction treatment and case management.
  • Supervisory Experience: 1 year of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude towards our chemically dependent patients and previous experience working with this population.
  • Certifications and Background Check: Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
