We are expanding our Plant Healthcare Division and are in search of a proficient Arborist Spray Technician. In this pivotal role, you will be essential in ensuring the health and vitality of trees and shrubs through effective pest and disease management strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Pest and Disease Assessment: Expertly identify a variety of pests and diseases impacting trees and shrubs. Responsibilities include applying treatments for tree and shrub care, tick control, deer deterrents, and tree fertilization.

Treatment Strategy Development: Work closely with Arborists and Tree Care Specialists to formulate tailored treatment plans that address the unique requirements of each tree or shrub.

Chemical Application: Apply pesticides, fertilizers, and other treatments safely and efficiently, ensuring adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.

Equipment Care: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of spray equipment to guarantee optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Documentation: Keep meticulous records of treatments performed, detailing the types and quantities of chemicals used, along with the condition of each tree or shrub.

Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to clarify treatment plans, address any concerns, and offer ongoing recommendations for tree and shrub maintenance.

Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest trends in arboriculture, pest management, and tree care through continuous training and education.


Qualifications:

Experience as an Arborist Spray Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.

Willingness to train the right candidate.

Strong understanding of tree and shrub pests, diseases, and treatment methodologies.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

DEC pesticide license is preferred.
