Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and implement On-Premises and Cloud server environments
  • Analyze and monitor server performance, troubleshoot server-related issues, and perform system maintenance tasks
  • Implement patch management and vulnerability remediation strategies
  • Work with IT management and business leaders to deliver allocated server administration tasks within defined timeframes
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to facilitate effective issue resolution and maintain accurate Asset Management and Knowledge Base

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, information security, or related field, or 7+ years of equivalent work experience
  • One or more of the following certifications: MCSE/MCSA, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Windows System Administration
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP Networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
  • Ability to install/upgrade Windows Operating Systems and Servers, configure physical servers and RAID, and experience with VMware and Hyper-V hypervisor
  • Knowledge of File Share and NTFS Permissions, User/Group administration in AD, and Administration of NetApp File servers
  • Expert PowerShell, perl/python scripting, and knowledge of OS Server hardening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of DevOps, Linux administration, and Server migration experience
