Job Summary

Silver Hill Hospital is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will provide direct clinical care to patients, conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions, and developing discharge plans as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a clinical caseload and conduct family therapeutic meetings, utilizing biological, psychological, and systemic perspectives to develop treatment plans and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, communicating effectively with the Director of Social Work and other Social Workers as needed.
  • Hold self-accountable for helping patients and families achieve desired results, understanding and identifying professional strengths, limitations, and challenges.
  • Participate in clinical rounds and social work staff meetings/trainings.
  • Facilitate discharge planning and implementation.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions with techniques appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
  • Provide intern and/or staff supervision, as requested by the Director of Social Work or Director of Clinical Operations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required.
  • LMSW/LCSW/LPC or LPC-A required.
  • Experience working with addiction and/or a psychiatric patient population required.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills, with the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move light objects weighing less than 20 pounds for short distances.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and walk around for different periods of time.
