Position Summary

Roadway Management Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to manage and operate our specialized Roadway Asset Collection vehicle. This full-time role involves the systematic collection of data pertinent to the evaluation of pavements and right-of-way assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the collection vehicle while gathering essential data.
  • Utilize various computer applications and GIS mapping tools.
  • Collaborate effectively within a two-person team while also working independently.
  • Instruct the driver on navigation through designated roadway networks.
  • Engage monitoring software and cameras to ensure accurate data collection.
Travel Requirements

This role necessitates 100% travel, with assignments based on project locations. Employees may work in a single location for several weeks to months before transitioning to new projects. Expect extensive travel throughout the United States, often for several months at a time, with limited breaks.

Daily Operations

The operator will be responsible for:

  • Daily operation of the collection equipment.
  • Backing up data files and maintaining communication with supervisors.
  • Performing routine maintenance on the vehicle, including regular equipment calibrations.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $45,000 to $60,000, commensurate with education and experience. Additional benefits include:

  • A per diem of $50 per day for meals and travel.
  • Accommodation in extended-stay hotels when available, with all lodging expenses covered.
  • Airline tickets for home visits every four months.
  • Health insurance with 50% of the premium covered by the company.
  • 120 hours of vacation annually.
Qualifications

Applicants must possess a clean driving record, free from DUIs, major violations, or license suspensions. While no direct experience is necessary, candidates should be open to training provided by Roadway Management Services LLC. A college degree or relevant military experience is preferred but not mandatory. All candidates must successfully complete a background check and pass a drug test prior to employment.
