Veolia Environnement SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our Cogeneration Plant.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all operations and maintenance functions to ensure maximum productivity and economic function of the plant.
- Direct the implementation of the Operating Plan and identify areas for improvement or further development.
- Ensure plant operating conditions are always within operating limits and ensure plant safety and environmental compliance.
- Direct Operations personnel in the safe and reliable operation of the plant.
- Coordinate, schedule, and conduct mechanical, electrical, and I&C corrective and preventive maintenance of all power equipment.
- Maintain plant CMMS (Maximo) and report normal and emergent plant conditions and/or maintenance that could impact power production in a timely manner.
- Lead, plan, and execute minor and major outages with the support of other plant personnel.
- Technical undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience in natural gas fired combined cycle power plant operations and maintenance.
- Experience with LOTO process and procedures.
- Working knowledge of instrumentation and controls, electricity, rotating equipment, power plant mechanics and operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls with attention to detail.
- Experience managing plant outages with multiple contractors.
- Experience supervising hourly personnel, strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, etc.) and CMMS/Maximo systems.
