Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at The LaGrange Area Department of Special Education. The successful candidate will provide speech-language services to students in a public school setting, working with students from Kindergarten through High School.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct speech-language services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions.
Consult with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies for supporting students with communication disorders.
Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Illinois Professional Educator License, endorsed for Speech-Language Teaching or Speech-Language Non-Teaching.
Speech-Language Pathologist Illinois Licensure or Temporary license through IDFPR.
ASHA Certification- CCC-SP or eligibility for a CF.
