Job Summary:

Oldham County Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and identifying students with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and providing direct and indirect services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and identify students with communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans
Provide direct and indirect services to students
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning
Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
Speech Language Pathology License issued by the Kentucky Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC or CFY)

Working Conditions:

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a school setting, providing services to students with communication disorders. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with teachers, other professionals, and parents to support student learning. The Speech Language Pathologist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and for participating in professional development opportunities as required.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position will be based on the board-approved teacher salary schedule for certified or the board-approved SP salary schedule for licensed speech language pathologist. The successful candidate will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
