Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse I

Georgetown University's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse I to join our team. As a Clinical Research Nurse I, you will play a critical role in the coordination and management of clinical trials, ensuring the highest level of patient care and research integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall coordination of assigned clinical trials throughout the trial lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with investigators and senior study team members to ensure seamless trial execution.
  • Interface with study participants and obtain informed consent according to protocol and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate study-related procedures and assessments, maintaining protocol integrity and patient safety.
  • Document all study-related activity, including medical data, in compliance with protocol and sponsor requirements.
  • Provide clinical and administrative nursing support to Clinical Research Coordinator and Clinical Research Nurse positions.
  • Ensure site compliance with research protocols, reviewing regulatory requirements and implementing appropriate methods and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, BLS certification, and RN license in the District of Columbia.
  • Three to five years of nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or similar healthcare setting.
  • Up to two years of clinical research experience.
