Lead Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at the Detroit Medical Center.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take on a leadership role in our department. As a Lead Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our ultrasound team, ensuring that all procedures are performed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ultrasound technologists
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
  • Registration by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography
  • A strong understanding of ultrasound principles and equipment operation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
