Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita, Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to care for patients undergoing dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring proper function and safety
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to blood and needles
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
