About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Stepdown ICU at St. Jude Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Stepdown ICU unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
