Job Summary

Catholic Health Service is seeking a skilled Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional status and providing medical nutrition therapy and diet education.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' nutritional status and intervene with appropriate medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and/or diet education
  • Maintain or optimize nutrition status and document in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and various committee meetings
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new employees and participate in clinical education of dietetic interns from clinical affiliates

Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, pro-active and customer-service focused
  • 2-3 years clinical experience preferred
  • Experience with EPIC/CBORD preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics required; Master's Degree and/or advanced certification in nutrition preferred
  • Must have completed a post graduate supervised, Commission on Dietetics Registration approved dietetic internship program and successfully passed the National Registration Examination for Dietitians to become a Registered Dietitian (RD)
