Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at EDF Renewables North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Work at heights, including climbing and descending wind turbine towers in various weather conditions
  • Operate full-size pickup trucks in purpose-built private and public roadways
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Meet weight requirements for safety equipment
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent education or up to one year of related experience or training
  • Ability to demonstrate basic computer knowledge
  • Able to follow both verbal and written instructions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education or experience related to wind turbine maintenance and repair
  • Six months to one year experience performing maintenance on wind turbines or related industry
  • Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment for maintenance purposes
  • Understanding of fastener types and torquing techniques, lubrication, and wind turbine components
  • Able to read and interpret schematics and technical data
