Group Overview:

Role Overview:
The Optical Engineering Intern will collaborate with Optical Engineers to conduct various in-lab evaluations. This role involves generating ideas for ongoing enhancements in optical testing methodologies and contributing to optical research initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:
- Grasp the principles of optical camera assessments, including:
- Color chart evaluation
- Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) analysis
- High Dynamic Range (HDR) testing
- Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) assessment
- Through-focus lens evaluation

- Assist Optical Engineers with the aforementioned testing
- Propose strategies for optimizing optical testing
- Support optical research and designated projects
- Define and plan optical projects that offer mutual benefits

Who We Seek:
- High School Diploma
- Currently enrolled in a College or University
- Major in engineering physics, mechanical engineering, optics, or a related discipline
- Prior relevant experience is advantageous

Your Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid technical and analytical abilities in specific technological areas.
