Position Overview:
The Electrical Project Superintendent is responsible for the effective execution of electrical projects, overseeing the management of materials, workforce, and equipment for Edge Electric, Inc. This role requires frequent travel to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
As a leader in this position, you will:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to enhance the company's reputation as a leading electrical contractor.
  • Assess project requirements and allocate necessary labor and resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the project team to create detailed material lists and supervise procurement processes.
  • Evaluate design alternatives and propose the most effective construction solutions.
  • Prepare job-specific installation and layout schematics prior to the commencement of work.
  • Address project-related challenges and promote effective communication among team members.
  • Guide and support field personnel to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, validate productivity, and provide technician training.
  • Assist in scheduling labor and acquiring necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform job inspections and manage other assigned tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Approve field labor to optimize time management and ensure accurate labor coding.
  • Identify and mentor potential leaders for future advancement within the company.
  • Deliver projects with professionalism to foster future opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety documentation and health regulations for supervisory roles.
  • Utilize company software effectively, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.

Qualifications:
Required:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Proven managerial and leadership experience is highly desirable.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Preferred:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Texas Journeyman or Master Electrical License.
- OSHA 30 Certification.

Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills with team members, clients, and contractors.
- Expertise in electrical systems and installation processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, including plans, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
- Experience with tenant finish-outs and ground-up construction projects.
- Strong oral and written communication capabilities.
- Knowledge of local codes, requirements, and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in problem-solving and understanding industry-standard installation practices.
