Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Job Summary: Aireko is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to coordinate and manage teams of electricians. The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning tasks, training staff, ensuring quality, implementing safety procedures, making inspections, and solving technical problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of electricians, carpenters, laborers, and operators, managing underground and surface electrical crews.
  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.
  • Read specifications such as blueprints to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
  • Confer with managerial and technical personnel, other departments, and contractors to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
  • Record information such as personnel, production, and operational data on specified forms and reports.
  • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints, plans layouts, assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial construction superintendent experience overseeing construction projects budgeted from $500K-10 million.
  • Possess strong initiative and effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport and interact with various levels of professionals.
  • Good communication skills, written and spoken English, preferably bilingual or some Spanish language knowledge.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good business relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task projects simultaneously, ability to prioritize workload, and develop specific goals and plans.
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism.
  • Able to travel and work in different Aireko office locations as required.
  • Demonstrated experience working with MS Project & Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
