Job Overview

Simmons Prepared Foods Inc is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the execution of projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Monitor and report project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of project management experience in a technical or engineering field
  • Knowledge of project management disciplines, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Fluent in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Products, and project/portfolio management tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ERP implementation, manufacturing system implementation, or developing cutover plans to reduce downtime
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud experience
  • Industry experience in food or pet processing, with facility start-up experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Preferred: Related Master's degree

Travel: Approximately 20% travel, including travel to company facilities and offsite classes or conferences.
