Position Overview:
As a Radiology Technologist at our Mesa Walk-In Clinic, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team operating seven days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM. This role is PRN (as needed), allowing flexibility with the potential for up to 12 shifts per month. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience in radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct radiographic procedures and analyses in line with departmental standards, employing independent judgment and established methodologies.
2. Educate patients and their families about procedures, treatment risks, and preventive measures, while demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.
3. Produce high-quality images and compile relevant patient information for prompt interpretation, ensuring meticulous documentation.
4. Exhibit proficiency in performing prescribed invasive or interventional procedures, adhering to established protocols.
5. Execute equipment quality control measures, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a safe environment for all.
6. Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards in radiology practice, ensuring confidentiality of all information.
7. Support the department's workflow by performing additional duties as required and managing inventory to prevent service interruptions.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiology program.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure as required. BLS certification is mandatory.
- Clinical expertise typically gained through one year of experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
