Pharmacy Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support our mental health pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff.
• Prescription Filling: Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Supply Management: Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Wholesaler Management: Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Inventory Management: Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Pharmacy Compliance: Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communication: Communicate with solid professional verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician: Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Wyoming.
• Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
• Reliable Transportation: Access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification: National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Pharmacy and Prescription Data Entry Experience: Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
