Electrical Hardware Development Engineer

At SpaceX, we're revolutionizing the way we explore space, and we're looking for a talented Power Electronics Engineer to join our team.
The Starship electrical hardware development team is responsible for designing and developing the advanced electronics that will enable humanity to establish a presence on Mars.
As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will work on the design, analysis, and testing of DC-DC power converters for harsh environments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create new power electronics hardware.
Key responsibilities include providing engineering expertise in design, analysis, and testing of DC-DC power converters, working on electrical power system and sub-system level design trades, and defining and performing electrical power system verification testing and analysis.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 1+ years of experience in power converter development.
Preferred skills and experience include a Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, previous experience with DC-DC power converter development, and experience in modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics.
Additional requirements include the ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines.
