Role Responsibilities- Work alongside the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage for safe patient care.
- Engage with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and assess strategies for achieving patient objectives and reducing rehospitalizations.
- Provide mentorship and education to nursing staff, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and serving as a resource for quality service delivery.
- Oversee medication management to ensure compliance with Genesis policies and adequate supply levels.
- Deliver direct patient care alongside unit nurses to maintain clinical skills.

QualificationsApplicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with the following qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing with three (3) years of nursing experience, or
- Nursing Diploma with three (3) years of nursing experience, or
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with two (2) years of nursing experience.
Additionally, at least one year of leadership experience in nursing is required. Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the relevant state is mandatory, along with a valid BLS/CPR certification.
