Under the supervision of the Medical Director and collaborating with Radiation Oncologists, the Radiation Therapist plays a crucial role in the precise treatment and simulation of patients. This professional is accountable for their own career development and operates within the legal scope of practice. By utilizing available resources, the Radiation Therapist advocates for patient safety and engages in quality improvement initiatives. The administration of radiation therapies within Kettering Health Network embodies the organization's mission, vision, values, and principles. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
The Radiation Therapist reports directly to the Department Manager.
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
- Licensed in Radiation Therapy by the State of Ohio.
- Associate's Degree or higher in Radiologic Science or equivalent certification in Radiation Therapy.
- BLS certification.
- Maintain certification as mandated by licensing authorities.
Qualifications
Preferred experience of 1 year; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
