Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our enthusiastic team at The Fun Kids Dentist. As a key member of our dental team, you will provide chairside assistance to our dentists during procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials, as well as educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and providing post-operative care instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during dental and orthodontic procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
  • Provide chairside assistance, including passing instruments, materials, and suctioning.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental and orthodontic procedures.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, coronal polishing, take and develop dental x-rays, and give post-operative care instructions.
  • Take accurate patient records and documentation using Dentrix and Dolphin software.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
